The Office of Research, Strategic Planning and Grant Development.

The Department of Research, Strategic Planning and Grant Development advances the mission of the college by providing relevant data and analytics, facilitating the strategic planning process and securing and managing grant opportunities.

The department is multi-faceted and is responsible for three major areas – institutional research, grant development and strategic planning. The Institutional Research office reports compliance data, conducts internal and external assessments and gathers other relevant information with the goal to support a data-informed culture for the OTC system. The Grant Development Office is responsible for researching and securing grant funds as well as ensuring grant compliance. The Strategic Planning Office oversees all aspects of the college’s Strategic Planning through the Strategic Planning Council, implementation workgroups and departmental planning efforts.

The strategic plan outlines OTC’s initiatives to further the college’s mission to be the community’s college. The Economic Impact Study outlines OTC’s contributions to the 12-county service region as well as returns on investment for students and taxpayers.
